ULOS FABRIC, BATAK TRADITIONAL FABRIC, ALMOST ALREADY
Ulos or ulos cloth is a fabric that is shaped like a shawl. This fabric has an important role for the life of the Batak people. Ulos is one of the unique cultural heritage of the archipelago developed by the Batak tribe, North Sumatra. Initially, ulos only functioned to warm the body. In the Batak culture, the term 'mengulosi' is known. This means warming the body using ulos. In invoking any rules that must be obeyed, it is known that only to promote based on emptiness. For example, parents can negotiate, but the children do not forget to hold their parents in touch.
For the Batak tribe, this cloth is a symbol of love for children for their parents. The principle of kinship in Batak culture is known as Dalilan Na tolu.
